Four Time ACDCA National Champion!
At the venerable age of 12 years, 3 months, Kate took her fourth cattle
herding championship at the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America National
Specialty! She was the only dog to qualify on both of her cattle trial
runs, which garnered her the title for the fourth time. “We’re
watching history being made.” as one exhibitor looking on put
it. Many sentimental tears were shed as Kate left the arena. Kate proved
once and again the heart of a Cattledog!

Tap matched Kate’s day one HIT with one of her own on day two
of the ACDCA National herding trials! This is Tap’s third National
Specialty High In Trial. Tappie has never met a calf she couldn’t
move, and his given us much pride and joy at each National in which
she has run!

At his first National Ruck qualified on all four of his PreTrial Test
runs! (two on cattle, two on sheep). At Cattle Trial I Ruck joined his
grandma Kate as the only two dogs to qualify on cattle.

Two Herding Championships in One Weekend!
At the Belgian Tervuren Club of Southern California’s AKC trials,
November 11 and 12, our girl Tap earned her AKC Herding Championship!
This has turned out to be a banner year for Tap, who has been on a roll
having earned three High In Trial placements on cattle and having earned
all of her championship points over a seven month period!

We are also very pleased to announce that our client dog, HC Contact
Point’s Fast N Furious, HXAs, HIBs (aka: Fury), earned her AKC
Herding Championship at the same event! Fury has moved up from Started
to Advanced to Champion in less than two years with limited training.
Along the way she has earned many High In Trial and Reserve High In
Trial placements. This weekend's scores also garnered Fury High Combined
Scoring Other Breed comprised of 4 qualifying scores on Courses A and
B from the Advanced Classes!

Sage’s First Win!

At her second show our new baby, Dalaussie’s Cowboy Poetry, earned
her first Championship points! From the 6-9 Puppy class Sage went Winners
Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex. She’s on her way
now! Thank you, Leslie Olson-Dalaussie Kennels, for sending us this
little dynamo!
